Time trials in Dumb Ways to Build
Every Job has a time trial Certification: one lap, as fast as your build skill allows.
The three time trials
| Certification | Job | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Express Check Out | Hotel Hapless | Complete the Hotel Hapless time trial |
| Pumped Up | Drain Strain | Complete the Drain Strain time trial |
| Speedy Skyscraper | Crane Climb | Complete the Crane Climb time trial |
Note: Express Check Out links to its Job's guide page for now (Hotel Hapless); a per-trial page was skipped over in favor of this hub — three thin pages would repeat each other.
How time trials work
- A time trial is a replay prescription of a Job you already finished — the platform requirements tie each to its base Job.
- The Mogging emote is publicly attached to the Hotel Hapless time trial as a launch-stream cosmetic read-out — the only named reward we can cite.
- Leaderboard style timing, medal thresholds and cut-off builds are not published; we do not print invented target times.
Community-level route notes
Fast laps revolve around the finished-build knowledge: knowing the piece inventory in advance lets servers pre-build some path segments. Crews run time trials in co-op because extra Beans mean extra hands on the nail gun, but the session mode is your choice. Solo pacing differs per Job; no published meta exists.
